  • Dec 6th 2012. The IPC biobased 3 research project was approved in which Deep Arctic Water participates with 2 of our consortium partners. In this research we test an upscaled model of the waste to energyplant with expected levels of biomass input. We also test the structural design and specifications of the upscaled waste to energy plant and use these outcomes to optimize the total greenhouse structure and installations (like climatecontrol, wastecycles and polyculture production). Last but not least the preferred carogeenlevel (algae) in animalfeed will be tested by adding algae to the menu of a testgroup of livestock.

  • Sep 18th-20th. The first Seagriculture conference was held in The Netherlands. Impressive to see the results of the upcomming market of seaweedfarming and Sea(weed) farming commodities in Europe.
  • Sep 12th Deep Arctic Water was a guest speaker at the “Oceans of Potential conference" in Plymouth UK www.oceansofpotential.org
  • Jul 5th 2012. Floriade Dialogue #8 in the Floriade Dialogue Centre in Venlo Netherlands where Deep Arctic Water was introduced to the Agro Park innitiatives of Wageningen UR in Mexico.
  • Jun 15-22nd 2012. Trade Mission to South Korea "watermanagement, agriculture, energy and R&D". We visited the massive land exclamation projects in Seamangun, the Energy plant in Incheon and the most important R&D sites in South Korea. More importantly with the help of the Dutch embassy our matchmaking proved to be succesfull.

  • In 2011 new innovative partners joined the Deep Arctic Water project. With innovation we guarantee our sustainability as a company the best, and are very pleased to introduce our newest partner Lucel to you. Our other strong partners can be found in the Tab “partners”. 
  • Deep Arctic Water participated the NCH Trademission Food & Food Processing China September 19-26th 2011. The province of Jiangsu has welcomed the Dutch delegation with open arms, and made the matchmaking very successful. The Chinese local government of Jiangsu showed great interest in the Deep Arctic Water project. It was a full program with a kick-off in The Netherlands with: a presentation from CCIC Europe – Inspection and Quarantine for foreign  food products to China, a presentation from van der Helm-Hudig – Customs regulations regarding to foreign food products to China, and a presentation from NL EVD International – Doing business in China with Dutch subsidy: Package 4 Growth In China. In Beijing a welcoming speech by the chief of CIAFNA, followed by a presentation from Chinamex, and matchmaking with companies at the Beijing University. In Shanghai Dinner at the City Group, with the Dutch vice general counsellor in Shanghai. Then the main part of the Trade mission: The 13th International Agrieexpo 2011 in Jangshu with the exhibition, the lectures, and an important matchmaking with the local government, future partners and students. Herewith we want to thank the province of Jiangsu, the Agrieexpomanagement, the universities of Beijing, and Shanghai, Eileen, Nicole, Hans, NCH, BTC, EVD and all the student interpreters for their contribution. 
  • Go India 2011. Mr. R. Rosbak of Syntens gave a good impression with the does and don’ts of the various markets in India. The brainstorming session afterwards with various companies was very enlighting.  
  • Deep Offshore Technology Exibition dec 2010. This Offshore exhibition in Amsterdam led to new insights of docking systems, anchors, and offshore safety regulations for Deep Arctic Water.   
  • Symposium‘De Nederlandse Tuinbouw goes China’ 27 januari 2010. 2 Students of the Tuin & Akkerbouw en Bedrijfskunde & Agribusiness of the Hogeschool Inholland Delft gave a lecture of the do’s & don’t of doing of farming in China. 
  • A Studytrip with the Proefcentrum Hoogstraten, research manager Tomatoes, to the Innovation and Demo Centre in Beiswijk and the Wageningen University UR in June 2010. We visited the high-tech ranch of the Innovation and Demo Centre in Beiswijk. We learned the state-of-the-art of the latest production methods and the use of geothermal heat.
